Alan Shearer has revisited his old spat with Roy Keane by laughing off his accusation of being a 'nasty' footballer.
And Gary Lineker has backed up his podcast pal, calling out Keane for 'trying to get a bit of PR' with rogue comments.
Keane had suggested that Shearer was a 'sneaky' and 'nasty' player who he had little admiration for on the Stick to Football podcast.
The Manchester United legend has history with the Newcastle hero. In 2001, they locked horns at St James' Park when Shearer pushed Keane, only for the midfielder to retaliate by throwing the ball at him and getting sent off.
And Keane recently said: 'Shearer was sneaky, sneaky elbows.
'I didn’t admire people who were nasty, I don’t like nasty people.'

But Shearer has hardly afforded Keane the dignity of a reply, instead just shrugging off his barb.
'Someone sent me that the other day, and then Micah [Richards] sent me it and Wrighty [Ian Wright] and we had a laugh,' he told The Rest is Football.
'I mean, really, come on.'
In fact, Lineker is the one who gave the more impassioned response to Keane's jibe.
'It's amazing what rival pods will do to try and get a bit of PR,' he said.
'Sneaky and nasty... I mean, some of the tackles, come on.
'Pot, kettle, black, and that kind of stuff.'
The former Match of the Day presenter also quipped that Shearer was 'living in his [Keane's] head.'
