Taylor Swift takes dig at male NFL fans after getting booed at Chiefs games

A new clip of Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason's New Heights podcast has dropped online.

And appears the songstress has no intention on holding back in her criticism of the 'dads, brads and chads' as she joins football's most famous siblings on the show. 

In the teaser clip for the 14-time Grammy Award winner's long-awaited debut on New Heights, she aimed a not so subtle dig at male NFL fans. 

'As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast, and I think we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it's more of me,' she said tongue in cheek.

The clip also showed Jason performing his customary introduction for special guests and he breathlessly reeled off a list of Swift's accomplishments.

Swift looked stunned by the volume and intensity of the former Philadelphia Eagles star's work, while Travis smiled along in delight.

Jason said: 'Our guest today is a singer, songwriter and producer and director from Nashville, Tennessee. That's bulls***. She is from Reading, Pennsylvania.

'She is the most awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and iHeart Radio Music Awards. She has 14 Grammy Awards and is the only artist in the history to win Album of the Year four times.

'Last December, she wrapped up the Eras Tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities, five continents and was the most attended tour of all time. Her last album The Tortured Poets Department set a record with 1.76 billion streams globally within the first week alone. 

'And as a fan of that guy on the Chiefs, she has 19 wins, two AFC titles and a Super Bowl. Making her podcasting debut, the most requested guest in the history of shows, Taylor Swift.'

Once Jason had finally composed himself, Taylor replies: 'That intro! Jason. Oh my God, look, his soul has left his body.

'No, that was so good. Thank you for screaming for like 47 seconds for me. That was so nice. Thanks for having me on my favorite podcast.'

The popstar set the internet ablaze in the early hours of Tuesday when she used the podcast to announce her new album: The Life of a Showgirl.

Now a new excerpt from the episode, which is due to air at 7pm ET on Wednesday, has been posted by New Heights on social media.
