Peete becomes the latest NFL coach to suffer a medical emergency while at practice, after Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams suffered a similar fate.
In August, defensive coordinator Williams suffered a major health scare after he was carted out of practice after collapsing, according to multiple reports.
Having taken time away from the Patriots earlier in the year, he returned to their training camp in August. However, just one week after doing so, he collapsed.
Boston reporter Pat Lane, who was on the scene in Foxborough, claims a stretcher was brought out when he fell ill at the training facility behind Gillette Stadium.
However, Williams was able to get back to his feet and eventually leave on a cart.
