Pat McAfee and Jason Kelce spill fresh details of Travis and Taylor's wedding... including a mystery 'Brad Pitt moment'

The crew of Monday Night Countdown revealed some new details behind the secretive wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden.

Before the Kansas City Chiefs tight end took the field for the first time this season against the Denver Broncos, the pre-game crew revealed some unique insights.

Show host Scott Van Pelt revealed that he had been at the wedding, as had fellow desk member Pat McAfee. Meanwhile, Travis' brother and Best Man, Jason Kelce, was also on the show as an analyst.

Van Pelt noted the celebrity-packed guest list, saying he has 'never seen a group of people quite like that.'

McAfee then offered his perspective, joking, 'Jason had a cape on, which I think was sweet. It was great to see that.'

However, for McAfee, one of the biggest surprises was one of Kelce's teammates cutting a rug despite having serious knee surgery.

He added, 'Yeah, I was like, "Hey, he's dancing his a** off." What, 4 or 5 hours he was out there dancing? And the entire Chiefs team was together. I mean, that felt like a real unified bunch.'

The crew also revealed that fellow desk-member Marcus Spears was sent an invitation, but declined: 'That's on me,' Spears said before blaming a 'family obligation with my son. You know, he got a lot of stuff going on.'

Jason then offered his thoughts: 'So many awesome people, obviously [from] all walks of life - football world, celebrity world, singers from Nashville, actors, actresses, people we grew up with in Cleveland Heights. The melting pot of individuals was insane.'

'The ceremony was gorgeous. They did such an incredible job. Adam Sandler officiated it in a very Adam Sandler beautiful way,' Jason added. 

'And then from then on, it was a party, man. It was so good seeing everybody out there, all the people that sang, all the people dancing, the games. It was, it was a very fun evening.'

Van Pelt then turned the subject of conversation to one particular wedding guest: 'I just want to say hi to my new best friend, Brad Pitt. Or it might be your best friend, I don't know.'

McAfee and Jason then both laughed, with McAfee saying, 'Hey, listen, I think [he] was all of our best friends.' 

Jason then shared, 'I think everybody from the wedding has had some version of a Brad Pitt moment that has come up in your talk with somebody.'

The couple tied the knot inside the iconic arena in front of friends, family, teammates and celebrities among others.

At about 7:30pm, the Garden's exterior lit up with pink screens reading: 'JUST&T MARRIED!'

Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, revealed in a statement at the time that the couple were dressed in Christian Dior haute couture and Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

Swift's brother, Austin, served as his sister's 'man of honor.'

Very few other details or images from the ceremony have been revealed – owed in part to the strict 'no phones' policy.
