Dean Henderson signs new Crystal Palace contract until 2030 making him highest-paid player after summer interest from Nottingham Forest

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson has agreed a new contract through to 2030.

Daily Mail Sport understands that his new terms make the Palace captain their highest-paid player and add three-and-a-half years to his deal.

Former Palace manager Oliver Glasner was keen on bringing Henderson to Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window, lodging an enquiry three days before the deadline. 

But Henderson has now committed his prime years to Palace, after Daily Mail Sport revealed that contract talks were on the agenda in July.

The 29-year-old became club captain last season, leading Palace to the UEFA Conference League title. He made 52 appearances last term and kept 18 clean sheets.

He also played a crucial role in their FA Cup triumph, keeping clean sheets in the quarter-final, semi-final, and final.

Henderson joined Palace from Manchester United in 2023 for an initial £15million and has become a fan favourite at Selhurst Park.

The shot-stopper is currently sidelined with a foot injury, having played the first three games of the campaign while injured, but is expected to return after the international break.

Henderson won bronze with England at the FIFA World Cup, starting the third-place play-off match.
