Even after undergoing major surgery to amputate his foot, the bombastic LaVar Ball still believes he could beat Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1 game of basketball.

The 57-year-old father of the NBA trio of Ball brothers, Lonzo, LaMelo, and LiAngelo, first called out arguably the greatest basketball player of all-time in 2017 about his hardcourt skill.

Oddly enough, Jordan retorted that Ball could not 'beat me if I was one-legged.'

Now, Ball has revisited the bit when asked about it in his new status.

'You know I can,' Ball said. 'All day, every day. I took it off so it would be even.'

Unlike his sons, Ball never played professional basketball, opting for a football career that was short-lived in NFL and in Europe. Fans have taken his latest poke at Jordan in stride knowing who said it.

The claim from the 57-year-old comes eight months after Ball had an amputation on his foot

'He’s got great dedication to that joke he’s been saying it for like 10 years now,' one fan said.

'Bro can lose 2 feet and 2 hands and he’ll still say he can beat MJ,' a second person stated.

'Good job with the kids, but dude can't ball his way out of a paper bag,' a third added.

'This mf is hilarious if nothing else,' a fourth continued.

'He is in my mt Rushmore of rage baiters,' a fifth concluded.

Ball has largely stayed out of the public eye since the infection forced him to have surgery on his foot.

That is far from when Ball was in a feud with President Donald Trump back in 2017, after LiAngelo was arrested in China.

At the time, Trump posted to Twitter, 'Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump? They were headed for 10 years in jail!'

Ball replied two days later to Trump, in his first term in the Oval Office - 'Who? What was he over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.'

Trump later said Ball was 'very ungrateful' and that he 'should have left them in jail.'
