Donald Trump makes surprise pick to join him, Jack and Tiger in dream golf foursome

President Donald Trump revealed his dream golf foursome pairing. While two of the players may be obvious, the fourth was a surprise.

In an interview on the Fox News program 'Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy,' Trump was asked who he would play a round with if he could pick anybody.

Trump, who owns multiple golf courses around the world, is an avid player of the game and has claimed to have won multiple club championships.

In response to Gowdy's question, Trump's first response turned up two pretty obvious choices.

'I love Jack, okay, Jack is great,' Trump responded, referring to the 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus. 

After that, Trump added Tiger Woods to the group: 'I happen to love Tiger, Tiger is a great guy.'

Trump and Woods have been seen playing together in the past and the President even awarded the golfer with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

But after the two golf pros, who have a combined 33 majors between them, Trump finished out his foursome with a more personal choice.

'It's funny, I played one round of golf with my father and he never played golf before,' the President replied.

'And I remember how good his swing was,' Trump said. 'I think my father had a lot of — I'd love to have my father back. I'd love to have my father back.'

Trump mentioned how he played with a number of pro golfers before, including Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler.

He has also seen the PGA Tour and LIV Golf host events at his courses in recent years - including in Washington, DC, Bedminster, New Jersey, and at Doral outside of Miami.
