An NFL fan has become the new 'Phillies Karen' after being caught stealing a Patrick Mahomes souvenir from a young fan.

After beating the Giants last week at MetLife Stadium, the Chiefs quarterback took off his arm sleeve and intended to hand it to a young Kansas City fan in attendance.

However, as video footage of the incident shows, a nearby adult in Giants gear (whose face was not shown) snatched it from the child's hand as the quarterback jogged away.

The young Chiefs fan was stunned by what occurred as he realized the gift had been stolen from him.

'Yo, she just stole that from me!,' he said to someone off camera.

Fans on social media were unsurprisingly on his side.

This is disgusting and completely unfair to this young kid. No adult should ever steal from a child.pic.twitter.com/hxeuKFcWwf

'Wow, what a loser move,' one said.

'That's straight clown behavior stealing from a kid,' another added.

'That’s awful,' a third added.

The incident comes after Phillies fan at the Marlins' LoanDepot Park went viral earlier this month as she bullied a man into handing over a home run ball he'd snagged for his son.

Footage of that incident captured the woman - since dubbed 'Phillies Karen' - berating the man and claiming that the ball belonged to her.

'That was ours,' she yelled at him.

After he gestured to his son, who he'd given the ball to, the man tried to explain that she didn't actually catch the souvenir.

The incident came after a 'Phillies Karen' demanded another fan hand a ball over to her

'Phillies Karen' (white jersey) was seen berating Drew Feltwell for beating her to a home run

Nonetheless, he ultimately decided to give the ball to the woman.

'Just trying to set an example of how to de-escalate a situation in front of my son, I guess,' he later told NBC 10 Philadelphia.

Ultimately, Feltwell's son, Lincoln, got to meet Harrison Bader (who hit the home run ball which caused the dispute) after the game and even received a signed bat from the Phillies star.

However, Feltwell admitted to having some regret at taking the ball away from his son.

'I felt like super dad putting that ball in his glove and giving him a hug,' he said.

The Chiefs beat the Giants 22-9 last Sunday to earn their first win of the season.
