Former Liverpool favourite Dirk Kuyt has reportedly been lined up for a swift return to the dugout just four days after being sacked.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf stated that second tier side FC Dordrecht are in negotiations over a potential deal with the 44-year-old.
FC Dordrecht are reportedly hopeful of sealing an agreement with Kuyt, who had previously worked in the club's academy after retiring as a player in 2017.
It would be the third managerial role of Kuyt's coaching career following spells at ADO Den Haag and Belgian side Beerschot.
Kuyt had led Beerschot to the title in the Belgian Challenger Pro League in his first season in charge.
His side, however, struggled to adapt to the Belgian Pro League and were relegated from the top flight last season after winning just three of their 30 regular season matches.

Kuyt had been a favourite during a six year spell at Liverpool from 2006 through to 2012
Beerschot won just two of their six matches in the relegation play-offs.
Beerschot confirmed Kuyt's departure on Friday, with the club highlighting his 'positive contribution' despite their relegation.
'Kuyt took over from Andreas Wieland in early 2024 and led the team to the Challenger Pro League title that season. Last season, however, was less successful, resulting in relegation,' a club statement read.
'The club sincerely thanks Dirk Kuyt for his dedication, commitment and positive contribution.
'His energy and involvement were a source of inspiration within the group of players. We wish him every success in the rest of his coaching career.'
Speaking last month, Kuyt admitted he was unhappy and criticised the club's poor facilities.
'The worst thing I found was that at one point we simply didn't have a field to train on', he told Het Laatste Nieuws.
'We couldn't train on the field during the last training session before our home match against Union Saint-Gilloise, as there was no training ground available and our main field was being rebuilt. We worked in the gym and prepared the boys with video footage.'

He added: 'At one point, I started driving around Antwerp itself looking for fields to train on. I saw amateur clubs that had five or six fields, while we didn't have a single one. It was appalling. I mean what I say: I don't feel too good for anything. I'm happy to work hard and give it my all, but only in the role for which I was hired.'
As a player, Kuyt is best known in England for his time at Liverpool where he became a fan favourite.
During his six seasons on Merseyside the former Holland international scored 71 goals in 285 games for the Reds and was part of their 2011-12 League Cup success - scoring in the final against Cardiff City.
He departed Merseyside in 2012 and joined Fenerbahce where he spent three years before make the switch back to Feyenoord and eventually retiring in 2017.
At international level, Kuyt made 104 appearances for the Netherlands, scoring 24 goals.
Reports last month claimed Kuyt was under consideration to become Arne Slot's assistant at Liverpool, after John Heitinga left to take charge of Ajax.
Mail Sport reported last month that Giovanni van Bronckhorst, however, is expected to become part of Slot's staff.
